Thienn Snipps is their name and their game started in 1990 as a barbershop quartet in Fort Recovery, Ohio. In need of a sponsor, the musicians contacted local barber Mr. Snipps whose name they adopted.
Beginning with four members, the group has grown to seven members who perform a variety of music including gospel, country, early rock and roll, and some contemporary tunes. George Stammen, Jerry Reinhard and Dan Diller are the group’s vocalists and all other members sing back up and play musical instruments: Norb Schlecty, guitar, mandolin and fiddle; Cliff Hansel, bass, guitar, and banjo; Larry Dragosavac, guitar and mandolin; and Sylvester “Ves” Guggenbiller, guitar and harmonica.
