Ahrens is in vying for a spot in The American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk contest, which will be held in Indianapolis as part of a lead up to the Final Four. 7 participants have already been selected, but the 8th and final participant will be selected via a fan vote.
As of now (Tuesday morning), Ahrens leads his challenger, but your vote will help seal the deal and get him a trip to Indy.
USA Today's High School sports page recently spotlighted Ahrens, including the video below in which the high schooler makes getting above the rim look effortless.
