Reid Oncology Services is sponsoring a free prostate cancer screening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Wayne County Health Clinic, 203 East Main in Richmond.
Appointments are still available by calling (765) 983-3344. More than 220,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. Mean ages 55-69 should be screened once a year. African-American men and men who have incidents of prostate cancer in their families are at greater risk.
Early detection can mean more successful treatment.
