Interested in learning the age old art of Blacksmithing? Pre-register for Darke County Parks’ educational class working closely with our Master Blacksmith. Saturday, May 9 the beginner class starts at 9am and ends at Noon and will be held in the Blacksmith Shop at Shawnee Prairie Preserve.
Each participant will have very hands-on experience creating a project start to finish. The fee for the class is $25. All students will be making an ‘S’ hook to take home! Call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165 to register today.
