The staff at the Arcanum Public Library wants to remind you of upcoming events.
Our annual book sale is almost here. We have lots of book, puzzles, music CD’s, and more. The sale begins on Thursday, May 14th, and will run through the following Thursday, May 21st. The sale is held upstairs in our meeting room during regular business hours. Purchasers may enter a drawing for a single person pass to the Arcanum Community Pool! Be sure to come and browse our great selection of items!
Everyone here is gearing up for what promises to be a super Summer Reading Program! The theme this year is “Every Hero Has a Story”. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the presentations and programs we have lined up for this summer. Keep track of your reading and the top readers will be able to choose from some great prizes. Learn all about the heroes in our everyday life, find out about friends and foes of superheroes, and read up on heroes of the past. Registration will begin on Monday, June 1st. Sign up and pick up a calendar of events.
Our kick-off event for the summer is a presentation given by last year’s Mr. Molecule, titled “Superhero Math Show”. It will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00am. This promises to be a very popular show, and you can pick up your free tickets here at the circulation desk.
