Final Bow Center for Children's Performing Arts announces their first Theatre workshop. We will spend two weeks auditioning, rehearsing and performing "The Best Little Theatre in Town." The musical's plot involves a shady accountant named James P. Pennypacker who announces that "The Best Little Theatre in Town" will have to close down due to lack of funds. That's when the theatre's owner Mrs. Goodman, popular director Cecille Deville, and the tightly-knit cast go into action! Two narrators pave the way as they discuss elements of classic theatre production in this fun-filled "play within a play." Watch the story unfold as this small town theatre company struggles to make ends meet.
Auditions will be held Monday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. at the Final Bow Studio, 315 Central Ave. in Greenville. Cast will be announced and a read thru of the show will take place that same day from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Practices will be held Tuesday June 30th through Thursday July 2nd and again Monday July 6th through Wednesday, July 8th from 10:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. Dress rehearsal will be Thursday, July 9th and the performance will take place on Friday, July 10th. All rehearsals and the performance will take place at the Final Bow studio. All students who audition will receive a part.
Cost of the workshop is $30 which includes a theatre workshop t-shirt. Pre-Register by June 25th and you will be guaranteed your shirt size.
