Beavers of Darke County

Timber! Beavers have made a remarkable come-back from near extinction, and we have several sites within the Darke County Parks that beavers now call home!

Join our Naturalist Intern, Grace Winhoven, and spend an evening learning all about the largest rodent of North America and then we’ll travel off-site to possibly look at beavers in action! This program will begin at the Nature Center at Shawnee Prairie on Monday, July 13th at 6:30pm and is FREE.
