The MVCTC Student Ambassadors visit the 27 MVCTC partner school districts in the fall to share their experiences, career technical programs, and career goals with high school sophomores. All of the sophomores from the 27-partner school have the opportunity to select two career programs to visit at MVCTC during the annual Sophomore Career Days in December. New for the 2015-2016 school year, thanks to an Ohio Straight A Fund Grant, MVCTC is now the regional Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative (RAMTEC) facility for a 12 county area in the Miami Valley. The grant money allowed MVCTC to create a 21st century advanced manufacturing and robotics lab where both high school and adults students will now be able to receive industry certifications from the largest robotics and industrial maintenance companies in the world including, FANUC and Yaskawa Motoman Robotics, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs, and Parker Hydraulics.
