Hiking is great exercise for the four legged friends and their owners, too! |
Dogs like hiking, too! Join a naturalist at Eidson Woods Preserve on Monday November 9th at 7:30am for an excuse to take the pooch for an early morning hike with other dog friends. They’ll explore the trails and follow their noses to see what’s happening. This is a great way to explore the parks and spend time with your dog. Please be sure to bring a leash, doggie bags, and water for both you and your dog. The trails may be muddy and dark, so plan accordingly. Please meet at Eidson Woods Preserve on the corner of Palestine-Union City Rd. and St. Rt. 502 West to begin the hike.
For any questions about this hike or any of the other programs offered by the Darke County Park District, please call the Nature Center at (937) 548-0165 or visit the website at
