TEAM UP TO SAVE LIVES AT FRANKLIN MONROE BLOOD DRIVE

CELEBRATE FOOTBALL RIVALRIES AS A ‘BUCKEYE BLOOD DONOR’

DAYTON, Ohio – Franklin Monroe High School is teaming up with Community Blood Center to host a Thanksgiving and Ohio State-Michigan Week community blood drive Monday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the cafeteria, 8591 Oakes Road, Pitsburg. Everyone who registers to donate will receive the “Buckeye Blood Donor” football t-shirt. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or call 1-800-388-GIVE.

The “Buckeye Donor” campaign celebrates Thanksgiving week rivalry games, like Ohio State against “That Team Up North,’ that make college football so great. Everyone who registers to donate Monday, Nov. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 19 at any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives will receive the “Buckeye Donor” t-shirt. The design features a silver football helmet on a red background with the CBC blood drop and the map of Ohio as the helmet emblem.

The holiday weekend can be a challenging time for maintain the area blood supply. If you must miss an appointment to donate please reschedule when you can. We especially encourage the continued support of type O whole blood donors and type A/B platelet and plasma donors.
