Bevin Fields, dramatic soprano, will present a vocal recital on Saturday, February 20 at 7 p.m. She has recently resumed her vocal instruction, studying with Kathy Brewer. In her return to vocal performance, Bevin will sing some of her favorite arias and art songs by Mozart, Puccini, Debussy, Faure, Schubert, Barber and more. Her accompanist is Terri Fryman. The recital will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 114 E. Fourth St. in Greenville. A reception with light refreshments will follow the recital.
Bevin Fields is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. She earned her BA in musical performance from Eastern Nazarene College. As a member of her college choir, Bevin performed in Eastern Europe. During that tour, she was the featured soloist with the Romanian National Orchestra and the Sibiu State Orchestra. Bevin is a licensed practical nurse working in crisis care for Hospice and she is employed by Dedicated Nursing Associates in Dayton. Bevin and Ryan, her husband of 10 years, live outside of Greenville with their 6 cats and 2 dogs.
