On May 5, 2016 at 7:24 PM Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue and Laura Fire Dept., and Careflight were dispatched to the intersection of Hogpath Road, and Red River West Grove Road reference a crash with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a White 2008 Chevrolet Van, driven by Randall Flory, 42, of Bradford was traveling East on Hogpath Road, when he attempted to make a left turn onto Red River West Grove Road and struck a Westbound Silver 1985 Suzuki motorcycle driven by, Jonathon Cottrell, 28, of Arcanum.
Mr. Flory was treated and released from the scene with no reported injuries. Mr. Cottrell was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Careflight and is listed in serious condition.
Mr. Flory was issued a citation for failure to yield.
