Cancer Association of Darke County announces the 35th Annual Annie Oakley Golf Tournament Results

Results are in from the 35h t Annual Annie Oakley Golf Tournament held July 25, 2016 at Turtle Creek Golf Course. 108 golfers teed off in the annual event.

The winners in the Low Gross Division were Team Rodney Oda 16A Players: Randy O’Dell, Terry Martin, Jack Born and Rodney Oda

Second place in Low Gross~~ Team Klockner Pentaplast Players: Aaron Dubner, Kyle Young, Todd Gyer and Darren Young

The Low Net Score Division Winners were: Team Littman Thomas 4A Players: Gavin Glasscoe, Darren Leis, Ben Studabaker and Dan Studabaker

Second place in the Low Net: Team Edward Jones Players: Steve Litchfield, James Moran, Jack Sloat and John Hershey.

The annual tournament banquet was held at Turtle Creek Golf Course where golfers and their guests were served a delicious meal with special prizes awarded. The emcee of the event was Jim Buchy and the guest speakers were Tim and Mary Ann Ridenour who shared struggles and victories through Tim's brain cancer.

$17,200.00 in proceeds from the tournament was presented to the local and independent Cancer Association of Darke County. The association provides benefits to cancer patients in Darke County who are battling cancer.
