Darke County Civic Theater will be holding auditions for their Spring Production of "Almost, Maine" on Sunday, December 4th from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Shawnee Prairie Nature Center. On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream. The production is seeking actors and actresses ages 18 and older. Rehearsals will take place on Sunday afternoon's and occasional Friday evenings. The show is set to be performed at the Elks Lodge in Greenville, OH on March 18th & 19th, 2017. Please plan on staying for the entire audition period.
