This Sunday to end Christmas Season at the Museum

With tidings of comfort and joy, your Versailles Area Museum invites you to take this last opportunity to enjoy our special displays as we end the season on our last Sunday for 2016.

Enjoy the various rooms decorated for the holidays. Our “Sweet Treats” display tells the tale of those delicious candies that melt in your mouth, not in your hand and the thrill of collecting M&M collectables. Our Military Room shares some of the history of those remembered in service of our country. Our 1900 kitchen is set for a cozy night of wrapping gifts and hearing the Bible reading for the evening. Art Gaier’s collection of vintage bicycles shows all what might have been under the tree for your bicycle lover in the last century. The Mercantile store is stocked as any of our village stores would be for the Christmas shopers.

Sweet treats like Grandma made for the holidays will be offered and fantastic books (at great prices) are being offered for sale in our Gift Shop. You also may become a member or give a gift membership for the holidays. We also will have our 2017 Historic Dinner tickets available for you to reserve seats for yourself or to give as a gift to a special History lover on your list.

Please plan to spend a little time with us as we end this special season at the Museum!

Remember we close for the season after December 18th. We reopen in February for our 2017 season!
