The Cuban Ambassador to the United States, Jose Ramon Cabanas Rodriguez, visited the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus on March 24th. The Ambassador came to Wexner for a reception to celebrate the exhibit of Cuban-born artist Carmen Herrera. Greenville’s Darryl Mehaffie attended the reception as a member of the Ohio Arts Council.
Mehaffie was appointed to the Ohio Arts Council by Governor John Kasich in 2013. Mehaffie also serves as a Trustee for Edison Community College.
The Herrera exhibit will remain at the Wexner Center through April 16th.
