VERSAILLES HEALTH CARE CENTER’S SHANNON CONDON EARNS DEMENTIA CARE SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION

Versailles Health Care Center Facility Rehab Director, Shannon Condon, M.A., CCC-SLP, recently earned her Dementia Care Specialist Certification. For the certification, Condon successfully completed a Dementia Caple Care: Foundation Course, the gold standard in outcomes-based dementia care training. The certification represents both practical application and academic excellence for professionals who are committed to delivering the highest standard of person-centered dementia care. Condon received a score of 100% on the comprehensive exam to verify her competency.

Being Dementia Care Specialist Certified means that Condon has:

• Demonstrated commitment to a person-centered care model for people with dementia
• Desire to distinguish herself from other long-term care professionals by having documented expertise as a dementia care professional
• Shared pursuit of a Dementia Capable Society
