On September 18, 2017 at approximately 3:27PM Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Fire and Rescue, Darke County Accident Reconstruction Team and Miami Valley Hospital Mobile Intensive Care Unit, responded to the 1300 block of Gordon Landis Road reference a one vehicle injury roll-over crash. Preliminary investigation revealed a Tan 2002 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Taylor Bowles 17, Arcanum, was traveling Northbound on Gordon Landis Road and drove off the right side of the roadway then traveled off the left side of the roadway into a cornfield and the vehicle rolled over onto its top. Taylor was wearing her seat belt and was extricated by non mechanical means. Taylor was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by their Mobile Intensive Care Unit for her injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by Darke County Sheriff's Office.
