Cancer Association Thanks Rolling 50’s Classics Inc.

The Rolling 50’s Classics group faithfully donates again to the Cancer Association. Each year the group donates money to help local cancer patients. The Rolling 50’s group is able to donate to the organization because of their Rolling 50’s Annual Cruise In that is held in September each year. The Association sincerely appreciates the donations that they receive from groups like the Rolling 50’s. The donation will help to cover the costs of patient services, which will help numerous cancer patients living in Darke County.

The Cancer Association of Darke County exists to provide support for people in Darke County that have been diagnosed with cancer. The Association reimburses their patients for expenses including: mileage, medication, medical supplies, and nutritional supplementation. The organization offers a volunteer driver program, free wigs and head coverings for cancer patients, educational materials for the prevention and early detection of all cancers, information booths at various Darke County events, and speakers for groups interested in learning more about our organization. The Association also makes one yearly donation to an accredited research organization that works with Darke County residents. They are an independent non-profit organization that exists because of donations from people just like The Rolling 50s! The Cancer Association of Darke County is not affiliated with the American Cancer Society and does not receive donations or financial assistance from their organization. For more information about the Cancer Association of Darke County, please call the office at 937-548-9960.
