October 4, 2017 (Tipp City, OH) — Joshua Recovery Ministries in partnership with Eagle Launch and Ginghamsburg Church is presenting “A Night of Worship” with KLove fan award nominees We Are Messengers, rap artist Jeremiah Lewis and Ginghamsburg Worship, on Friday, November 3, 7pm at Ginghamsburg Church, 6759 S County Rd 25A, Tipp City, Ohio.

“Night of Worship” is a fundraiser for Joshua Recovery Ministries (JRM) a faith-based, non-profit organization with the mission to set people free from drug and alcohol addiction. Tickets are available at

Event organizer Dave Goins explains, “Joshua Recovery Ministries is partnering with local businesses and churches to host this concert to raise awareness about the opioid crisis in our community and also the services that JRM provides in the fight against addiction.” Goins also notes that Dayton is the “overdose capital of America,” quoting an NBC News report from June 2017, in which Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer indicated, “We’re on a pace to have 800 people die this year due to overdose in our county. Per capita, we're Number 1 in the nation in overdose deaths."

JRM opened its first recovery house in Dayton, Ohio in 2008 for men in need of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The program now supports five recovery houses across the Dayton area and also provides professional, faith-based counseling services for men, women, adolescents and children through a counseling center in Beavercreek.

“Since the founding of the first house, God has led us to support the community with other counseling needs in addition to addiction, including grief, depression and other concerns that benefit from the services of a professional counselor,” shares JRM Executive Director Ron Will.
