July Beautification Awards from Ladybug Garden Club Beautification

The El Camino Real Restaurant was chosen as the Community Commercial Beautification Award for July for their “Fiesta Colors” theme in landscaping. The garden of Paul and Teresa Harsh was chosen the Outstanding Residential Beautification Award for July with lots of perennials, unusual container plantings, bird feeders, vegetable garden and statuary. Teresa spends much of her time outdoors enjoying her garden. Receiving the Ladybug Garden of the Month sign is Angela Beumer presenting the certificate to Teresa Harsh with husband Paul Harsh, with Ladybug members Lisa Marcum and Sherri Jones.

A special Ladybug Garden Club Patriotic Beautification Award was presented to Sheila Whiting for her North Broadway garden and peaceful front porch decor. She selected the patriotic theme honoring her granddaughter, Isabella Whiting, serving in the Army Reserve. Sheila has many perennials, containers, and roses. On hand for the presentation was Lisa Marcum, Angela Beumer, Sheila and Sherri Jones.
