On August 22, 2018 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of the 200 block of Anderson Avenue in reference to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was determined that a subject in the 200 block of Anderson Ave. discovered subjects tampering with his vehicle which was parked on the roadway. The subject chased the suspects to the 200 block of Riffle Avenue where an altercation occurred. During this altercation, one round was fired from a handgun. Medical personnel were called to the scene; however, no one was transported for medical attention.
This incident remains under investigation.
