GOP Women to host primary election candidates

GREENVILLE, OHIO – The Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) will be hosting the countywide Republican candidates appearing on the March 17 primary election ballot in Darke County. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on March 9 at the Chestnut Village Center of the Brethren Home Retirement Community, 750 Chestnut Street, Greenville.

The following candidates running for these public offices have been invited: Judith French and Sharon Kennedy for the Ohio Supreme Court, Chris Epley and Jeff Rezabek for one seat on the Second District Court of Appeals, Matt Huffman for State Senator (12th District), Susan Manchester for State Representative (84th District), Jena Powell for State Representative (80th District), Jason Aslinger for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas (Juvenile/Probate Division), Matthew Aultman for County Commissioner, Larry Holmes and Matt Harrison for one County Commission Seat, R. Kelly Ormsby III for Prosecuting Attorney, Cindy Pike for Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, Toby L. Spencer for Sheriff, Linda Stachler for County Recorder and Timothy Kathman for Coroner.

“The Club is so pleased to invite Darke County voters to this meeting. We are glad to provide this opportunity for the community to hear from the Republican candidates.” said Betty Hill, DCRWC President.

The program is free and does not require reservations. The Club does offer an optional dinner prior to the speaker’s program at a cost per person of $10 for those who would like to attend and have made reservations for the meal.
