Why We Walk: An Alzheimer's Awareness Luncheon

Please consider joining The Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter on Tuesday, June 28 at the Why We Walk: An Alzheimer's Awareness Luncheon. During this one hour awareness event, you will learn more about Alzheimer's disease and dementia, how the disease impacts our community, and the local care and support services available through the Alzheimer’s Association

The success of the Darke County Walk to End Alzheimer's event is critical to providing care and support services in the Miami Valley and contributes to the research necessary to end Alzheimer's. A primary purpose of the Why We Walk luncheon is to promote the October 1 Greenville Walk which supports the thousands of families in our community who are impacted by the disease. The walk is literally a step toward ending the disease.

The luncheon is not a fundraising event and will be provided free of charge. If you are interested in attending, or want more information about the Walk to End Alzheimer's, contact Katie Mauch at kmauch@alz.org or 937.610.7014.

The Miami Valley Chapter has a variety of care and support services for those impacted by dementia in Darke County. To learn more, call our 24/7 Helpline number at 800.272.3900 or visit alz.org/dayton.
