Green and Ormsby are the likely choices for prosecutor appointment

The Darke County Republican Party will soon appoint the county's next prosecutor to replace the deceased Richard Howell. Jesse Green has been in the prosecutor's office for years, is a Darke County native, and recently served a year in Iraq. Kelly Ormsby, the acting prosecutor, previously served as Prosecuting Attorney in Paulding County, Ohio.

  3. Jeez - it's a political appointment. I'd be happy to have a democrat prosecutor here in exchange for a Republican senator in Massachussetts.

I'm not aware of any democrat lawyer in Darke County who'd even be interested. Are you?

  4. Well, a Democrat could apply---that happened once----but the chance would be zero! That goes for a Republican that I know, too.

  5. I doubt the prosecutor's office is very partisan if at all.

  6. Dick Howell is the only professional pros. DC has ever had or will have in the future ,except, if they appoint Jessy Green
