Browns heartbreak continues

You know who caught every pass thrown his way Monday night? Even the really difficult ones?

Heh.

Here's a second point to consider. If you are a disgruntled Cleveland Browns player, you can do a terrible job and maybe you'll get traded to a first place team in a great city (of course any city is better than Cleveland, right?).

  2. Haha. Good comeback, but I would warn you not to get to excited about your 6-3 win over the Bills! Edwards caught more passes last night than the entire Brown team had on Sunday.

  3. I'm by no means excited about that game, but I will take a win. It took the mighty bengals a full 75 minutes to beat the Browns, I sure wouldn't be excited about that win either.

  4. I am not excited about the Bengals win over the Browns. But they did beat the Packers and Ravens on the road - and the Steelers at home. Those are three HUGE wins.

  5. The bengals are by no means dominant, but they've gotten the job done, which is a complete 180 from any other year. before, if they were lucky to play anyone close, they'd blow it in the end.

personally, i'm excited by any win. 4-1 is a long way from where they've been recently. i'll take the excitement from anywhere.

so is anderson looking to get traded since he only completed 2 passes?

  7. the thing about trades is that there has to be someone who is interested in his services. QBs aren't exactly the kind of position that can easily mold into a new system in mid season... unless you are Brett Favre, i guess...

Even if a team like Washington wanted Quinn or Anderson, there'd be minimal impact this year for them.

  8. The best comment I have ever heard about quarterbacks, all quarterbacks not just
Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson, was made by Mike Ditka on Sundays ESPN pregame show. Ditka said " If you have 2 quarterbacks, you don"t have any!" I think he may be right!

What are you going to get for one of them? Quinn can't start for one of the leagues worst teams, Anderson was 2 for 17.
You will be lucky to get a fifth rounder.

  10. Anderson and Quinn can throw the ball well,,their receivers can not or will not catch the ball.
