Hometown Holiday Celebration Weekend



Friday, November 20

  • 11:30 and 1:30 Bread of Life Connie McEldowney from Russia will be signing her book Josiah's Journey. The pro-life children's book is based on the true story of the struggles a young mother faces in her unplanned pregnancy. For the past five years the author and her family have offered their home as a shepherding home through the Harbor Life Ministries. Connie and her daughter donate 100% of all profits from book sales to pro-life charities.
  • 10:00-8:00 pm Youniques Women Clothing Boutique - Treska Jewelry Trunk Show with refreshments. Stocked with great holiday fashions.
  • 5:00-8:00 pm KitchenAid Experience - The String Quartet, local student musicians, will be playing for your enjoyment. Holiday Open House weekend offers gift with your purchase and Gingerbread Cookie decorating.
  • Downtown Greenville stores are open until 8:00 pm

Saturday, November 21

  • 11:00 to 1:00 pm Bread of Life Richard F. Studebaker, author of The Mystery of the Manse: David Baker Series, Book I, will be signing his new release. A pastor in rural southwest Ohio, and formerly from Darke County, the author has crafted a fascinating yet realistic tale of children learning history while confronting prejudice.   • 10:30-11:30 am Candy Bouquet Gingerbread House
  • Community leaders come together to lend a decorative hand with the youth. A total of six pairs (one adult man and one youth girl) will work together to build and decorate a gingerbread house in an hour. Stop by the Candy Bouquet to cheer on each team. Judging by the public will be open from 12:30-5:00 pm.
  • 12:00 pm Montage Cafe - Michigan/ OSU game! Cheer on the scarlet and gray on the big screen with a great selection of beers and wines.
