Check the blog Jess E. I updated it again... how much do you want? 12+???? I can't order the weather, but I can tell you where you might get 12+, but you might have to travel a bit.... We still will be getting a healthy snow... More tomorrow, I must retire for the day...
Andrew I remember a similar set up ten years ago or so, but the low west of the appalachians did not tranfer the energy and sat there and spun, and we got dumped on! 12" plus if I recall right.
hey guest #1 dont get my hopes up, lol. and yes andrew i want the whole she-bang! lol one storm, then im over it. p.s. im not THAT excited if i have to travel. i babysit at home so therefore i dont have to go anywhere. hence the reason i llooovvee snow.
Well it does NOT look like we will be getting the "whole she-bang" that you want... I love snow too, but as soon as this storm is over, I hope its 70 degrees and stormy!! I am ready for spring!
What did we do 20-30 years ago for predicting snow or any type of weather before computers? Even with computers they still can't predict the weather, so why the fuss.
Blog looks good Andrew, I think 7" in G'ville, with an outside shot at 10" if we get into some decent CAA and a good band, This has been quite a system to watch the models evolve, I don't recall seeing one quite like it.
I agree Guest#1, the 0z models tonight really ramped things up... I have been busy doing a story on the snow and people heading to the stores. When I saw the models I was surprised.... it is hinting at the 10" possibly, but if we get any icing it is going to cut that back down to size, if you will... Thanks for the compliments on the blog!
Buck, dont tease me. lol. I do love me some snow, but, only 5 inches??? Oh well, guess, I'll take what I can get. Have a good one.
ReplyDelete5 inches is more than what we have gotten with any one system so far this season.
ReplyDeletei know, but, sttiiiiilllllll.......lol

ReplyDeleteSnow is like sex. You never know how much you're going to get, or how long it is going to last.

ReplyDeleteAh yes, good ole Gil, quite a guy, I still have a T-shirt with him on it. The weather forecaster that recognized the Xenia Tornado on the Radar.
