“After Nine Months, I was born, for a Second Time”

“I have always referred to my life as being like a cyclone. At one point, I even had a screen name called Cycloniclifedg but that has been laid to rest. Seeing where I came from to where I am today was an adventure for sure.”

Hope in Recovery will have a David Garrett share his Story of Hope on Friday, April 30, at 7:00 pm at the regular Friday night support group meeting. He will tell of time behind prison walls and how it has impacted his life today. All are invited to hear his journey down the wrong path and his journey back.

Hope in Recovery meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, and every Friday night from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. Hope-a-non meets every Friday night from 7:00 – 8:15 pm.

Hope for Teens every Friday night from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. Meetings are held at the First Presbyterian Church, 114 E. 4th Street, Greenville.

Hope in Recovery is not limited to only the addictions of drugs or alcohol. If you or someone you know is struggling, please call 548-9006, or just show up.

  1. I was inspired by Dave's story. He reminded me that God corrects those He loves for His plan for each of us. There is hope when we surrender to Him. Thanks, Dave.
