J.S. forwarded these photos from his sister-in-law who lives in Florida. So sad.

  2. I hope everyone is boycotting all BP stations and yes Lassus Handy Dandy is BP. You all have not seen what it really looks it's even worse than this. People in the Naples area can smell oil when the wind blows right. BP has killed Flipper NO MORE BP

  3. The BP stations are small businesses. They are generally owned by people who live in the community and employ people in the community. If you think not buying gas from BP is sticking it to the corporate giant, you're wrong. What will happen is some local stations will close, more people will be out of work, and it will have little effect on the BP bottom line.

Even if your logic was correct, how do you expect a bankrupt company to pay for clean up and reimbursement to all of those affected? What about all the vendors that count on BP as a major customer? What about people who have retirement money invested in BP stock?

If BP fails, the taxpayers will get stuck with the cleanup bill and supporting everyone who is out of work.
