  1. Nice work guys! Notice how many low lifes from out of town we have coming here to commit crimes anymore?

  2. That's because these criminals are attracted to communities that can't pass school levies.

  3. They come here because the police don't crack down on the little guys, ie users, small pushers and the like. The don't want to waste their valuable time on the ones that are bringing them and providing a market. As long as you have a market you will have pushers.

  4. This has NOTHING to do with the voters of this town sore loser!

  5. They come here because there is a significant drug problem in this community. They wouldn't waste their time unless there was profit in it for them.

  6. I work for a local business and we see many different new faces in town and after talking to some of them, the reason they picked Greenville to live was because of the low taxes. Don't believe me asked them yourself.

  7. The problem is county wide, don't kid yourself.

  8. why arrest a small pusher and user when you can cut the snake off at the head.

  9. The bad part about this is that the greenville PD has a patrolman who is connected to drugs / alcohole abuse /attempted suicide on force.

  10. I honestly believe that the reason they are coming to our once great city is because our local government allows it. We have too many low income homes here and since they can't afford it in their own cities, they come here. It's pathetic and I am sick of it. I had a friend in from Myrtle Beach who once lived here and graduated from here. She came back for the fair and couldn't believe in 7 years how bad this place has become and how badly maintained our once beatiful homes have become. It saddens me, people in our community need to wake up and get these losers and Sex offenders out of here. That's the problem. Once again, I would agree, school levy issues have nothing to do with the trash we are getting in our city!

  11. Dear Mr. Anonymous at 8:39 pm,

Those are serious accusations against America's finest. I highly suggest that if you have proof of these claims that you contact the police narcotics unit. And, by the way, it's alcohol.

  14. People are going to leave this town, not because of the old school buildings, but because it is the drug center for the county. I think we need to lock down the high school kids at lunch. That has always been easy access time for the pushers from Dayton. See them outside all the time for years now. No one wants to believe it, or refuses to see it. This politically correct crap is killing our town and our nation. Lets get out there and watch out for each other. We know who belongs here or not. Talk, ask questions, and report these creeps. Neighborhood watches can and do work.

  15. High school students are getting drugs from their own homes. I graduated 6 years ago and it was really bad then. You knew who to get the drugs from and they weren't doing it at lunch time with pushers from Dayton.
The school does have a lot to do with it. If we are paying to support our school these people wouldn't be able to afford to move right in. Family oriented people are looking for places with quality education systems to move their families to, not some hillbilly town that doesn't understand the important of education. It should be fairly obvious that a good education is the only way to be successful these days.
If we made this community a family oriented community it wouldn't be as appealing to outside low lifes.

  16. Mrs. Anonymous at 7:10,
Sorry for the gender error. Why don't you report the person. The last thing our community needs is a crooked police officer. I know ppl; maybe I can help you but I don't know how to reach you.

  17. Lot's of towns have cheap houses. We do have a lot of low income people because Greenville has chosen to get accomodate low income people. Greenville is a big public assistance city. For some reason, it seems like a lot of the low income are involved in substance abuse. Abusers draw other abusers. It goes on...
To keep from becoming like Dayton and other big cities that have lots of problems, we need to insist on our government bringing in more jobs. One problem, companies need good workers. Companies will do research on communities and find out what they are like. Only the citizens can make a city desirable by electing good officials and making sure that the city is a good place to come to. It is time for the citizens of Greenville & Darke County to insist and work for the wholesome communities we once were proud of.
