On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, the Darke County Drug Task Force arrested 24 year old Thomas G. Jordan Jr. of 1415 Union Rd., Dayton, OH for drug trafficking. The arrest stemmed from a drug investigation that led investigators to believe Jordan was dealing crack cocaine from a residence in Greenville. Following the arrest of Jordan, investigators found marijuana, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1000 in cash. Jordan was taken to the Darke County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
Just another case of the out of area trash that is being drug into this area. Check out the jail roster, we seem to have a lot of this recently. I guess the lure of quick cash from dealing drugs or the availability of desperate girls willing to date anything draws them.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank the Darke County Drug Task Force for doing a wonderful job of cleaning up the community and making the community a safer place. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I keep saying that Property owners who rent out homes needs to check back grounds on people before they rent to them. When I lived in Indy, I had to fork over a deposit which was used to checked my background. It is very rare that a big city person would come here vrs us small town people moving there. We dont have the big colleges and the huge factories that Dayton does. Why would a 20 year old come here? My only answer would be for a girl or drugs.
ReplyDeletethe fact is, the dealers are able to sell their drugs here in darke county for 2-3 times the amount of money that they can in the larger cities.
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to knock a girl up let her live off the system, and make runs back and forth to Dayton to buy drugs to sell here in our town.
I appreciate the drug task force but there needs to be more bust there is so many drug dealers in this town. Between drug dealers and sex offenders this town will die. Who wants to come and start new industry or any type of business to a town going down hill. Just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like the drug task force has been doing a lot. Seems like there was just an article about them starting not that long ago and now it seems like every few weeks I see something they are doing. I don't know about the rest of you but I would pay more taxes for them then a new school for right now. Not that schools aren't needed by any means but the drugs are out of hand and if these kids are going to have a chance for education the streets need cleaned first. Thats just my opinion and I am not saying it should be everyones just mine.
