If you receive an automated call or a call from a person telling you your debit card or credit card has been compromised, NEVER give out your personal bank account information or PIN number to that party.

This is a SCAM that has been repeated numerous times in Darke County and across the country. Criminals want you to give them your debit or credit card number and the PIN number. They will use that information to access ATM’S or charge merchandise to your account.

Banks that issue debit or credit cards already have the account number on your card and would never ask you for that information.

YOU CAN HELP PREVENT FRAUD BY NEVER GIVING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE PLACING THESE CALLS!
