On Friday, November 19th Franklin Monroe Elementary, located at 8982 Hogpath Road will be holding its annual Baskets for Education Auction. Auction begins at 6 pm, doors open at 5 pm. A lunch stand will provide Winners BBQ beef sandwiches, hotdogs, chips, pop and an assortment of desserts. This year’s auction items include, but not limited to, items such as children’s toys, books, restaurant gift certificates, hair care products, home decorations, car wash products, scrap booking materials, and overnight stays at campgrounds and indoor water parks. There will also be products from Lia Sophia, Thirty-One purses, Mary Kay products, Usbourne books, Longenberger and Pampered Chef. Monies raised from the auction funds counseling services, Kindergarten Enhancement, after school enrichment programs and artist in residence.
