Reminder: City of Greenville's Spring Clean Up is this Week (April 18-22)

Update: According to the City's website, "The [yard waste] stickers are $.75 and can be purchased at Ace Hardware or Wal-Mart only."

The City of Greenville's Spring Clean Up will be this coming week (April 18-22). Rumpke Waste Inc will come on the regular day of service for residents. Per the City's website, the following items WILL be accepted, although there is a limit of 5 large items. (Remember, this is for large items, not bags)

1. PUSH TYPE LAWN MOWER (60 LB. LIMIT)
2. REFRIGERATOR WITH FREON REMOVED BY A TECHNICIAN
3. WATER HEATER, STOVE, WASHER, DRYER
4. BED SPRINGS OR MATTRESS
5. FURNITURE
6. LAWN FURNITURE
7. BICYCLES
8. TELEVISION SET, STEREO EQUIPMENT, MICROWAVE OVENS,
COMPUTER MONITORS
9. CARPET CUT & TIED IN NO MORE THAN 4 FOOT LENGTHS
10. CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS TIED IN NO MORE THAN 4 FOOT LENGTHS
11. BRANCHES – BUNDLED & TIED IN NO MORE THAN 4 X 2 FOOT LENGTHS
(MUST HAVE A YARD WASTE STICKER ATTACHED)

The following will NOT be accepted:

1. NO 50-65 GALLON DRUMS
2. NO FENCE ROLL
3. NO HAZARDOUS WASTE
4. NO LIQUIDS
5. NO ASBESTOS
6. NO GAS PROPANE BOTTLES
7. NO TIRES
8. NO YARD WASTE WITHOUT STICKERS
