Darke County Parks to Host Living Civil War Encampment on July 2nd

The 1st Louisiana Zouaves / 2nd Ky Cavalry, Artillery Detachment will return for its second and final living history encampment this summer on a day in the life of a civil war camp. Located near the Log House at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, they will have demonstrations of Civil War era weapons, flags, clothing and cooking each day. Encampment will be held Saturday, July 2nd from 9AM-5PM and Sunday, July 3rd from 9AM-3PM.
