Updated (including Video from WHIOtv.com: Major Accident on State Route 49 Between Arcanum and Greenville, at Intersection of 49 and Drew Rd

Second Update from WHIOtv.com: More details are coming out. We now know that the car and semi sideswiped each other, with the car hitting the semi's fuel tank. The driver of the car was pinned under the car's dashboard, leaving rescue crews to cut the roof off of the car.

Update from WHIOtv.com: We now know the accident was at the intersection of 49 and Drew Rd. The driver of the car was trapped for up to an hour, and was then taken to Miami Valley Hospital. The driver's condiditon is unknown.

According to the article, "The fuel tank of the semi was ruptured in the crash."

Original Post: This morning on State Route 49 between Arcanum and Greenville, an accident occurred involving a semi and a car. Early reports at least one person was trapped in the wreckage. Carelight was dispatched to the scene.
