Celina's Daily Standard has a great write up about the beginning of the ACME State Varsity Baseball tournament which kicks off today at Montgomery Field Celina Eastview Park.Greenville's team will begin its tournament run tonight at 5:00pm against Defiance.
Greenville's Kathy Beam, Commissioner of ACME Baseball, will be throwing out the first pitch on Saturday at Montgomery Field in Celina to kick off the tournament. Kathy has been involved with ACME Baseball for over 25 years and is in her 7th year as Commissioner.

Greenville wins first state tournament game against a very respectable Defiance program by a score of 4-3 in 9 innings. Way to go Wave!!
