The Fort GreeneVille Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution sponsored a story time at the Gathering at Garst Event on Saturday July 30 The featured colonial storytellers were DAR chapter member Lady Karen Washington Burkett and husband John. Other DAR members assisting were Mary Bankson and Debbie Nisonger. Cookies and patriotic bracelets were awarded to all the children that participated.
