“What’s the Deal with Drugs: An Awareness Program,” a co-sponsored program by State of the Heart Hospice and Darke County Nursing Education Council, will be presented by Sheriff Mark Whittaker and Detective Scott Mullen from the Darke County Sheriff’s office. Information to prepare health care professionals with an understanding of clandestine drug labs, drug use and latest drug trends will be shared. The program will be held at Wayne Hospital, in the third floor conference room, on November 15, 2011. Registration starts at 4:30 p.m. $20 covers the cost of a light meal and CEs.
