Yet again the Greenville High School Wavaires under the Direction of Ms. Michele Smith are preparing for another amazing performance this Saturday Nov. 5th at 7 p.m. This show is one of many in preparation for there trip to New York in early June. While in New York City they will be performing a solo concert at the Allen Room in Jazz at Lincoln Center at Columbus Circle, St. Paul's Church at Ground Zero and Riverside Church. Some of the song selections that they will be performing include: Firework, Time Warp, Hello,Goodbye, Empire State of Mind, Soul Man, These Boots are Made for Walking, A 60's Melody, A Tribute to Bon Jovi, among many other well known titles.
Tickets for Saturdays Concert are currently on sale at the High School ticket booth from 11 am -12:30 pm. Pre-sale tickets are $6.00 and $7.00 at the door. All seats are assigned when the tickets are purchased. You may also purchased tickets at the door the before the concert begins ( the doors will open at 6:15 ) or you may contact Linda Hickerson at 548-2084 for more information. ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy the Waviers! Just one question... they look to be a bit smaller than in years past. Are they becoming more selective, or is enrollment down for the group? Not a big deal either way, they're always very good!
