Meals on Wheels Seeks Volunteers

Your face may be the only face many homebound adults see. Do you have an hour a week to insure they get a hot meal and a warm smile?

Meals on Wheels need volunteers to pick up food and deliver it to homebound adults living within a three mile radius of Greenville. This position is available on Wednesdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Food will be picked up from Rest Haven. Volunteers for this important position should be at least 18 years old. A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are required.

“Volunteers insure that shut-ins are checked on at least once a day and provided with at least one hot meal for that day,” says Dot Cain, Meals on Wheels volunteer.
