Local businesses & organizations who contributed to the event included: State of the Heart Hospice, Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, The Flower Patch, American Red Cross Blood Mobile, Heartland Hospice, Family Health Pharmacy, Greenville High School Music Department & Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home.
In addition to the trees & wreaths being on silent auction, visitors to the event were asked to judge the items in 3 categories. The winners were: Most Traditional – Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home; Most Unique – The Flower Patch; Peoples Choice – State of the Heart Hospice.
“This event is successful because of community involvement. We hope to build on our success in 2011 and make the 2012 Festival Trees even bigger and better!” said Davenport.
