GREENVILLE FEDERAL IS PRESENTING SPONSOR FOR 2ND ANNUAL HIPPITY HOP 5K TRAIL RUN

The Light Foundation and the YMCA of Darke County are excited to announce that Greenville Federal is the presenting sponsor for the 2nd Annual Hippity Hop 5K Trail Run to be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Chenoweth Trails located at 441 Greenville-Nashville Road in Greenville, OH. The run will commence at 9:00 am with registration opening at 7:30 am. There will be FREE, supervised activities in our “Cottontail Cottage” for children ages 9 and under for those parents wishing to participate in the run. At the conclusion of the race, there will also be an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 9 and under.

“The Y is grateful for Greenville Federal’s ongoing support of our programs and mission,” stated Gail Hostuttler, Executive Director for the YMCA of Darke County. “One of the Y’s main areas of focus is healthy living. Through the partnership with the Light Foundation and the generous support of our community, we are able to provide events such as the Hippity Hop 5K Trail Run that give those in our community a unique experience.”

“Greenville Federal, the oldest back headquartered in Greenville, is proud to give back to our community,” says Shawn Daugherty, VP and Chief Lending Officer for Greenville Federal. “This event is a great opportunity to promote healthy living here in our hometown.”

Registration fee for the Hippity Hop 5K Trail run is $17 and includes a tech shirt. To register, stop by the Y in Greenville or Versailles or mail your entry to Hippity Hop 5K Trail Run, c/o YMCA of Darke County, 301 Wagner Avenue, Greenville, OH 45331. Day-of registration will also be available.
