WHIOtv.com was in the courtroom yesterday as Darke County Common Pleas Judge Jonathon Hein held Justin Thomas' bond hearing after he was arrested earlier this week for allegedly attempting to shoot his wife. He appeared from Darke County Jail via video.
Darke County Prosecutor R. Kelly Ormsby III requested bond be set at $1 million due to the repeated charges (Thomas is awaiting trial for allegedly robbing and abducting his grandfather at gunpoint last September) and the serious nature of the charge. Judge Hein followed that recommendation and set Thomas' bond at $1 million.
