Destination Known Missions is a ministry of EUM Church and they are hosting their first annual golf outing on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Each year EUM Church sends mission teams to the Guatemala City dump in partnership with Potter’s House Association International to build homes for deserving families. This year, an additional team comprised of youth and adult leaders are giving up much of their Christmas vacation to travel to Guatemala to build our third house this year.
The golf outing will take place at Turtle Creek Golf Course located at 6545 US Rt. 36 E in Greenville. The outing will consist of four-person teams with a best ball scramble. Check-in begins at 11:45 am and golfing begins at 1:00 pm. Team fees are $300 - which includes green fees, golf carts and a cookout style meal. Register and pay online by September 21, 2012 at www.eumchurch.org / serving others / around the world. All proceeds from the golf outing will support the youth for this upcoming mission trip.
