The Pitsburg Lions Club will hold its annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 22. Events begin at 10:00a.m. with a Co-ed Volley ball Tournament. Call Lion Mike Feitshans, 937-459-8659, for information. At 11:30a.m. a delicious Pulled Pork Lunch will be served in the Fire House with a variety of sides and desserts.
Bring the kids to the Tennis Court where the Darke County Chapter of Farm Safety 4 Just Kids and the FM FFA will have a display with several games and prizes in addition to a few other surprises. At 1:00pm, there will be a Kiddie Tractor Pull.
Following the Tractor Pull, there will be a drawing for a boys bike and helmet and girl's bike and helmet. Thanks to Harvestland, Pitsburg and R.J. Cox Co for their donations! Net proceeds of the Pork Lunch will benefit the Franklin-Monroe Scholarship Fund.
