Historical Society’s Christmas Bazaar is Nov. 24th

Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society will open their doors for the annual Christmas Bazaar (with the lowest prices of the Christmas season) on Saturday, November 24th at 123 W. George Street in Arcanum between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. The list of featured items is long and tempting for Christmas shopping and decorating.

New this year will be the themed rooms for shopping starting on the front porch of the building continuing inside with Beck’s Boutique (named for Beck’s Hotel once housed in the building) featuring accessories such as jewelry, scarves, sweatshirt jackets and much more.

Step into the Bake Shoppe and Country Store where there will be aprons, aprons and more aprons, all colors, and styles. Tempting delicious homemade pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, ready- to- use ice cream toppings and the famous Arcanum frozen Cheeseburger Soup will be ready for purchase. These items are ready to use or may be frozen for your holiday entertaining.

Kids’ Treasures Room will have games, toys, kids’ clothing and new this year will be lots of baby clothing. Look for a “free items” tote bag located in this room, the selections in the tote will change all day. No limit on the number of free items for your shopping bag.



The large Meeting Room will be a Christmas maze of decorations for the holidays, new this year will be one-of-a-kind wooden snowmen with moveable arms, rocking horses, five foot slender decorated trees including an Ohio State Buckeye tree. Tables in this room will be loaded with holiday angels, sleds, stars, table arrangements, tree ornaments and items too numerous to mention. The signature Christmas Wreaths will line the walls of the room, find matching garlands and swags among the holiday items. Don’t miss the Buckeye Shop in this room, an annual feature of this bazaar.

As in the past, the society will hold fast to their policy of the lowest and most affordable prices. Every person attending the bazaar will be entered for a door prize drawing, no purchase necessary nor need to be present. A 50-50 raffle will be conducted with tickets sold in available for a $1 each or 6 for $5 in advance or at the bazaar. Drawings for the raffles will be held at 8:45 P.M.
