WHIOtv.com has a video report on a house fire today in Greenville where a firefighter was injured while fighting the blaze.
A fire at a home on Washington Avenue started in the upstairs bathroom before spreading to other areas of the home. No one was home, thus none of the residents were harmed. Greenville firefighter Lt. Kevin Subler sustained an ankle injury and was treated and released.
In addition, a pickup truck a few houses down the block was ticketed for parking in front of the hydrant, although it did not interfere with access to water to fight this particular fire.
