Jesus Commands Us to Share Our Faith

The Church’s reason for its existence is to reach the lost with the good news of the gospel. Just before Jesus ascended into heaven, he appeared to the eleven disciples and said, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt 28:19-20)

Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples” and yet, a mere 2% of Christians regularly share their faith in Christ. The number one reason Christians give for not sharing their faith is fear. Some level of fear will always exist but you can learn how to deal with your fear and turn it into strength. The number two reason Christians do not share is that they are not sure what to say. With a few Biblical principles, you can learn what to say and how to reach the lost.

Both of these reasons for not sharing your faith will be addressed by Mark Spence and Eddie Roman from “The Way of the Master” at the Sharing Your Faith Workshop held at EUM Church Worship Center, 1451 Sater Street, Greenville, Ohio on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. “The Way of the Master” equips Christians to share their faith using the approach perfected by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. Sharing one’s faith always seems difficult, but when using a successfully proven way, it becomes much easier.


At the workshop, you will learn to overcome your fears by using a simple, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense to those you care about. You will be taught how to share your faith just the way Jesus did!
